Client: Georg Thieme Verlag The German Stroke Society had its 10th anniversary in 2011. A collection of essays was compiled and published in this book. Due to the lack of an extensive image library a narrative sequence, consisting of geometric shapes, was invented. Sharp triangulars as metaphorical EEG lines and ovals as symbolic blood cells, form various compositions. Rather structured patterns of triangels are dispersed by increasing penetration by the oval shapes. These graphics simulate a stroke, whose impacts start to get better in the last third of the publication.
