Two paired LED-bars, seven meters in length, become the stage for the classical composition “Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso” by Camille Saint-Saëns. The challenge was to display the enormous speedof the violin by obtaining the readability for the viewer. On problem, that arose during the development was the relativly slow response time of the LEDs. We linked the length of the bar to its speed, so that a faster moving bar is longer than a slower one. The project was built using VVVV.
